Meet our Executive Board of Directors

Our board members are a central part of MaxLove Project. They are that heart in the middle of our logo. We cannot thank them enough for their service and presence in our community.

  • Adrianne is one of the original founding board members of MaxLove Project and has been involved since the very beginning. She is incredibly proud to be part of MaxLove and is continually inspired by the community it creates and its dedication to empowering families who are faced with disempowering circumstances. Adrianne has been fortunate to meet many of the families touched by MaxLove's efforts over the years; understanding the positive impact MaxLove has is why Adrianne has remained committed to and involved in the organization for over a decade.

  • MaxLove Project has been a significant part of my family's life for many years. We first met Max at the Rainbow Looming event at Arroyo Elementary, where my son became passionate about making as many rainbow looms as possible for Max. I participated in the Coaches vs Cancer and Golf Tournaments that benefited the MaxLove Project, which then parlayed into an invite to the Board of Directors. My current role allows me to combine my passion for The MaxLove Project and shape young people's futures. The Junior Board has raised money and evolved young adults for almost two years with a bright future ahead!

  • I got involved in Max Love Project in January 2019 when I signed up to do a charity fitness competition through my gym, Stark. I was struggling to find a charity to represent. Audra happened to be training that day and overheard me talking to my trainer about finding a cause that I connected with. And the most amazing Audra – way, she introduced herself and told me about Max Love Project. I went home to research the organization, and quickly fell in love with the Mission and philosophy and the Powerful ground roots effort that only a small but mighty group can provide.

  • Trinidadian born and California raised. A fellow oncology mom, with years of business experience, customer service experience, research, and analytical skills gained after working for the largest and leading Fortune 500 wireless communications company in the US. Driven by a passion for innovative excellence, exceptional service, and building relationships. I started my own company after many years in the fraud industry for major Telecom companies.

Cancer has forever changed my life and as a result I’m a true believer in loyalty, building trust, and communication in personal and business relationships. I am passionate about being intentional and helping others. My educational background is in Business Administration and economics, and stumbled upon my passion for baking along the way. Volunteering in the community and contributing to multiple charitable organizations within Orange County and globally.

I am honored to bring my leadership skills and business acumen to MAXLOVE in efforts to further their mission to improve the lives of children and families thriving against the odds.

  • I have been a Gold Apron Chef with MaxLove Project for over 10 years. The commitment that the Fierce Foods program makes to our MaxLove families inspires me to reach into my professional and personal network for the necessary funds to make our programs thrive. Food is medicine and we teach it can be delicious and fun. Our recently published cookbook was a 3-year labor of love and it is so rewarding to have our MaxLove families posting photos of their meals.

  • I began my journey with MaxLove Project in late 2013, offering my creative services in support of their events and programs. I went on to join the original founding Board of Directors and the initial Farm 2 Fork Event Team. I had the privilege to be present at lots of Fierce Foods Academy classes, both Loom-a-Thons and many CHOC visits and parties. The most incredible and life changing moment I have had with MLP, was being fortunate enough to be backstage when Super Max made his debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I got a front row seat and glimpse at how much this little boy; his family and friends would go on to change the world. My favorite part of MLP is the community. I have made life-long friends and family within our organization and the love and magic only continues to grow.

  • My journey with MaxLove Project began in 2018 when I was invited to my first Farm to Fork event—an experience that profoundly moved me and sparked a commitment to their mission. What began with financial support and event attendance transformed into a more hands-on role through volunteering at golf events, Farm Walks, and Giving at the Farm.

As my involvement deepened, I gained an understanding of MaxLove Project's evidence-based solutions aimed at improving the quality of life for families facing childhood cancer. The stories shared during the Farm Walks fueled my desire to be part of the solution. No family should confront such challenges alone, and MaxLove's existence serves as an open door for anyone who can empathize with the pain of cancer-stricken families and wishes to offer support.

However, the scale of the need is significant, given the prevalence of childhood cancer. MaxLove tirelessly works to unlock and address the most impactful ways to support families, yet the growing demand remains apparent. Recognizing the challenges associated with expansion, I've promised to stand alongside them, providing professional support for scaling their services to more cities, hospitals, and, most importantly, children.

As I embark on a new chapter as an Executive Board Member with MaxLove Project, I invite others to join me. Let's ensure that families have the tools needed to navigate the challenges of childhood cancer, creating a network of support so that no family ever feels alone in their battle. While we hope never to need the services of MaxLove, let's reflect on whether we are proud participants in constructing a safety net for families facing devastating news. Each of us has a role to play, contributing what we can, when we can, to make a meaningful impact in the lives of these families.
