Join MaxLove Project for our 3rd Annual Walk for Kids at Tanaka Farms on April 28th from 3-6pm! Our Walk for Kids is an immersive, interactive event for families and our whole community to take action in support of those facing childhood cancers and pediatric rare diseases.
The event features a 1.5 mile farm walk with U-Pick stations, live music, premiere food & wine tastings, plus kid-friendly snacks and hydration from top wellness-focused partners. Picnic and take in Tanaka Farms from our venue on the hillside. It can't be beat!
With your support MaxLove Project will be empowered to continue to provide our essential, pioneering quality of life focused programs and services to childhood cancer and rare disease families.

Calling all heroes, SuperFamilies, and allies! Step up for kids fighting cancer & rare diseases or represent a SuperKid/SuperFam by starting a team and fundraising/friendraising for our cause. Teams also earn tickets and are invited to plant a sunflower.

If you’re not interested in fundraising with a team and you’d like to join us for the event, purchase tickets here. Tickets are sold directly on the Tanaka Farms website. Tickets are $50/adult and $10/child (under 15). Tickets include entrance to the walk and all tastings.

Bring a picnic blanket!
Be sure to pack water bottles and supplies for the family. There will be plenty of snacks and refreshments on site.
Parking is FREE at the main Tanaka Farms parking lot.
Present your entry tickets to Tanaka Farms at the Farm Stand. Check-in with MLP and get your tote bag (1 per family) inside the venue.

Dedicate a sunflower.
Visit our special installation where FCC Walk Teams are invited to plant a sunflower in honor or memory of a SuperKid and in honor of SuperSibs. All Teams are invited to plant a sunflower seedling. Superfamilies will be invited to return to Tanaka Farms to visit the sunflower patch and for a special harvest event.
