About MaxLove Project
We’re dedicated to improving the quality of life of families facing childhood cancers, pediatric rare diseases, and chronic hospitalizations with evidence-based culinary medicine, emotional health support, expert-driven health education, and therapeutic community.
What we do
MaxLove Project equips families to thrive within the pediatric healthcare system of today — where the standard of care for most life-limiting illnesses does not include quality of life focused care — as we work to change the system of tomorrow. We do this through our support of pioneering culinary medicine programs, family-centered events, easy-to-understand health education, and emotional health support. Each of these initiatives aims to improve quality of life and reduce health risks for hospitalized kids, childhood cancer & rare disease patients, survivors, and their families.

Our Programs
We focus on all the things families can do outside the hospital to achieve maximum quality of life for children facing cancer, rare disease, and life-limiting illness. We do this through tailored cooking classes; whole-family wellness resources and therapies; targeted peer social support; and professionally designed, facilitated, and researched health and wellness programs.
Our Impact
Founded in 2011, MaxLove Project has served over 25,000 families in 5 countries. It’s our goal to make our programs and services available and accessible to all families in need of integrative wellness support on the childhood cancer and pediatric rare disease journeys.
Our Team
We’re a team of experts, clinicians, parents, providers and volunteers dedicated to helping families thrive against the odds.
