Join MaxLove Project for our 4th Annual Walk for Kids at Tanaka Farms on September 13th from 4:30-7:30pm! Our Walk for Kids is an immersive, interactive event for families and our whole community to take action in support of those facing childhood cancers and pediatric rare diseases.

Join us for a 1.5 mile farm walk with u-pick produce produce, kids’ activation areas, free mini photo sessions for our SuperFamilies, as well as a free pumpkin and giveaways for MLP families as well. Advocates and allies are welcome to join us, form teams, and support the cause. Bring your family, friends and neighbors and join us for a beautiful afternoon of HOPE at Tanaka Farms!

All event proceeds benefit MaxLove Project. With your support MaxLove Project will be empowered to continue to provide our essential, pioneering quality of life focused programs and services to childhood cancer and rare disease families.

    Tickets are $25/adult and $15/child (ages 2-15). Tickets include entrance to the walk and u-pick all stations & activations. SuperFamilies will have access to a number of special offerings including a prize giveaway, free pumpkin, and free mini family photo sessions (with sign-up). Parking is free onsite.   • Start a team!

    Calling all heroes, SuperFamilies, and allies! Step up for kids fighting cancer & rare diseases or represent a SuperKid/SuperFam by starting a team and fundraising/friendraising for our cause. Team members who raise $500+ by 9/8 at 11:59pm PST will receive 4 free event tickets. We also welcome teams from across the country! Join us from wherever you are and walk on 9/13 with us!

Walk participants are invited celebrate their favorite SuperKid with signs, coordinated tee shirts, and team costumes!

  • Address: 5380 3/4 University Dr, Irvine, CA 92612

  • Parking is FREE at the main Tanaka Farms parking lot.

  • Present your entry tickets to Tanaka Farms at the Farm Stand.

  • MLP SuperFamilies: Once you’ve entered the farm, please check-in at the MLP table to get your giveaway and pumpkin tickets. If you’ve signed up for a mini photo session, we’ll be in contact with you via text.

    • Note: the mini photo session sign up form is accessible in the MaxLove Project Connect community platform only. Please sign into the platform, find the event post, and follow the directions to the sign-up sheet. You must have tickets to the Walk for Kids in order to access the mini photo session. Mini photo sessions are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and will fill up quickly.

  • What to bring: Be sure to pack water bottles and supplies for the family. This year’s event will not culminate in a food and wine tasting on the hill. This year’s event is a pumpkin patch theme and will focus on the farm walk and activations for kids and families.
